Niagara Falls - 8th Wonder of the World

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls has to be one of the most gorgeous and breathtaking sites I have ever seen. This summer we (my family and I) visited Canada (southern Ontario) for my uncles wedding, I didn't think much of Canada, just that because we are both under one monarchy the two places are going to be the same! Well I thought wrong! In Geography class we had learnt about waterfalls such as Niagara falls but I had never witnessed its true beauty. Till this summer I had never witnessed a waterfall. From both birds eye and from a regular view the views were spectacular. What could be better than watching a 188ft waterfall between the Canadian and American border with 168,000 cubic meters of water come crashing down every minute? What could be better than breathing in the fresh, crisp air cooled by the torrent of water relentlessly spilling over the falls. Niagara has such an awesome history/ and is a site to be visited by all at least once in your lifetime.

Niagara Falls has many amazing features on the Canadian side such as:

  • -Niagara Souvenir shop, a place to purchase your memories or gifts for friends and family.
  • -Skylon Tower, you can witness outstanding views here, ones that you can brag to your friends and family and even get a green screen photo shoot.
  • -Hotels and Resorts, to relax and rest after all those photos you've been taking.
  • -4D Cinema, watch the story behind the Horseshoe, Bridal veils and American falls all in one and the story of 'Made Of The Mist'.

The Falls are just an hour or so away from Toronto and a little longer if you're driving from Missisauga.
